Information we collect

Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your name, email address, organization and anything else you include. The Site's inquiry form does not submit information to us. It prepares an email in your own email app, and we receive only what you choose to send.

Usage information. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used. It uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the referring site.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request information to deliver and secure the Site and to measure its performance.

What not to send. Please do not send operational site records, credentials or other sensitive information through the Site or in an introductory email. We agree how such records will be shared before any are exchanged.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• respond to inquiries and scope possible engagements;
• operate, secure and improve the Site; and
• meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use analytics data for advertising.

Who we share information with

• Service providers who process information on our behalf: Google (analytics), Cloudflare (hosting, security and email routing) and our email service provider.
• Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
• Authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights.
• A successor organization, if Sinteag or the Headroom business is reorganized, merged or sold. The information remains subject to this policy.

Where information is processed

We are based in the United States, and information we receive is processed in the United States.

How long we keep information

• Inquiry emails: 12 months after our last contact. If an inquiry becomes an engagement, related records are kept under the terms of that engagement and our legal and accounting obligations.
• Google Analytics data: 14 months.
• Hosting and security logs: according to Cloudflare's retention practices.

Customer operational records

Authorized exported records from a customer engagement are requested only after we agree on scope, recipients, transfer method, permitted use, access, retention and deletion. They are kept out of public materials and source control. No customer portal or public upload facility is offered.

Your choices and requests

Analytics cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Your information. You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, by emailing privacy@headroomiq.com. We may need to verify your identity. We respond within 30 days.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The Site is intended for business users. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
